From a Brazilian brand called Impala, this nail polish is like a chameleon: even creme, depending on the incidence and the kind of light, the tonality looks different 🙂 It was released in 2010, under Balneários (Balneary) collection.
Weekly Playlist with a delay, but it’s available now. Generated by random button 😀
My recent-time-favorite eyeliner 😀
About the brand: Make Up Factory is a german company (from Artdeco group) which produces professional makeup – the vision is that every woman can have access to professional makeup, not restricted for makeup artists only -, with high quality, and it’s been in business for 10 years. Unfortunately, is not sold in Brazil.
I discovered in a travel to Paraguay, and the presence of the brand made me curious. The design, the colors, positioning in the stores, the divulgation and merchandising – if I can apply my Marketing knowledge in this situation, one of both: either the brand had bought presence in all those places (what is hard, because the rivalry in Paraguay is something bizarre), or could be really good, indeed. I discovered that the brand is not good, is excellent, marvelous! I have some other itens (more or less half of all my makeup stuff), so is not a question of a specific product.
The eyeliner has this pack, as can be seen in the first picture (the majority of Make Up Factory products has packs), and texts about the product in question in German, English, Spanish and French. And, in the product, only English and German.
The size of the eyeliner is normal, and the cable of the applicator is silver, in this mirrored way.
The applicator has gross tip, but there’s also another model which has a thin one. It dries quite fast, and lasts around 8 hours without touch up and without transfer for the skin. The liquid is quite pigmented and fluid, and besides the Black No. 1* color, there’s also available Brown No. 4 and Diamond Gold No. 20 (as I can see by the website, this last one must be awesome). Well, is good to have a strong hand to trace, in special to the corners, but the more you practice, the better you get. 😀
Is my second consecutive bottle of this product <3 (can I call liquid eyeliner as bottle?)
I don’t remember exactly about the price, but wasn’t expensive. Moreover, one of the positives aspects of the brand, besides the quality, is the price – at least in Paraguay. I also consider the design and the colors.
* = of course I wouldn’t let it pass, I confess that I only noticed that the name of this eyeliner is Black No. 1 when I took the pictures. And Black No. 1 reminds of whaaaat? Hell yeah, Type O Negative ♥ A hit to illustrate, and, well, our beloved Peter had passed away 5 years ago. A fair video for it now 😉
One more Weekly Playlist, three songs of a specific band, and three more which came from random button.
Weekly Playlist a little bit late, but here it is. A little about the Finnish Kalmah, and some all-time favorites – which deserve hearted on LastFm.
relatively comfortable look, with one of my favorite band t-shirts ♥
As I said before, I’m REALLY a band t-shirt fan (really!). According to my observations and studies, is a quite effective way in the band divulgation, as merchandising. Isn’t an exclusive item from headbanger outfit – Elvis Presley and The Beatles already used to use this mechanism -, though this item is an icon used for allusion.
Let’s back to the end of 60’s, beginning of 70’s, when the metal scene appeared, and the material divulgation was hard (come on, I think in this way was quite funny and intense). Among that poor specialized media, LPs (imported/rare/expensive), K7s and some bootlegs, to use a t-shirt (or even a patch!) which could represent the band was a great divulgation way – even if the music was an unknown one, at least the logo/image could be known, and so incite the curiosity from someone else.
One more Weekly Playlist, this time with Ramones and the lovely random button from Media Player.
There are hits, which I haven’t listened to for a while (
since when I was 15, maybe), is always good to listen the same old songs after some time, as I already said, seems like that we listen to it in a different way. I won’t extend me in relation to the reasons which made me choose those songs (the reason is this section, is simple), I really like them – not necessarily all of them are my favorites to die for.
I choose three from Ramones, and three from random.
From Viagem Translúcida collection, a Brazilian jelly green!
I’m used to follow a “list” of nail polishes to use, due to the quantity (100+, I need to count with precision
is never enough – and my Mercury on Virgo makes me crazy if I skip the logic). But, for Réveillon, I was completely without inspiration, any logic made sense and whatever, I choose a random (the nail polish can be seen here and here). Of course, even the random must be a little methodical: I visited Loucas Por Esmalte and found a suggestion there 😀
I passed the silver glitter, and remined of Orvalho (dew, in a free translation). Well, is not exactly a weird avocado green, actually it looked cute in the bottle, and as I didn’t had used before, I found my option.
Sometimes I left Media Player on the shuffle mode, with all the music archives I have on the computer. And then I listen to, randomly, some others tracks which I’m not used to, or, because of listening too much, I start to listen in a different way (noticing some elements on the music that were unnoticed for me before or whatever…).
There are some that caught my attention, the chosen ones for this weekly post 😀
Running Wild – March On (Death or Glory – 1989)
Black Sabbath – Sweet Leaf (Master of Reality – 1971)
Silverchair – The Lever (Diorama – 2002)
HIM – The Kiss of Dawn (Venus Doom – 2007)
Vixen – Waiting (Vixen – 1988)
HIM – Don’t Close Your Heart (Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights – 2001)
